BSN – Burgerservicenummer

BSN (het burgerservicenummer) – since November 2007 it is a tax identification number in the Netherlands (current equivalent SOFI number). Everyone who works in the Netherlands must have a BSN, it is necessary to settle all the formalities in various Dutch institutions. BSN seems to Dutch Tax Office (Belastingdienst). SOFI number obtained to November 2007 are automatically changed to the BSN. To get this number You need to make an appointment in the Belastingdienst.

DigiD code

DigiD code – stands for Digital Identity, is a system shared between cooperating governmental agencies, allowing to digitally authenticate the identity of a person who applies for a transaction service by internet. Eenmanszaak – in the Netherlands is very popular because of easy and understandable rules governing its conduct and activities. Huurtoeslag

Rent allowance – financing for renting an apartment or house paid by the tax authorities.

The amount of the co-financing depends mainly on the amount of the annual income and the gross income per year. It is also important to be registered at the address. Inkomstenbelasting – Income tax. Tax refund is available to any person who has worked in the Netherlands and the employer paid the appropriate premium. Document required for settlement for refund of income tax is Jaaropgaven. Waiting time for a tax refund is a period of 3 to 6 months for the past year, if the settlement was made before the end of March in current year.
